My Jetta is finally on the production line!!!

After contacting Volkswagen Australia via my lease provider, they have assured me that my Jetta is being built and it's on the production line. A more specific date can be set as soon as the car is on the ship to be delivered to Australia.
My only problem with Volkswagen and Volkswagen Australia is their poor mamagement in supply chain.
Firstly this should have been forcast correctly and the cars shipped to a level where their is enough stock for the majority of buyers. Without the huge waiting times.
Secondly, the car was marketed whilst there were low amount of stock in their inventory. With a waiting list now stretching up to 12 months on some models, you should ask the question, do you really want a Volkswagen?
Considering this is my first Volkswagen, I hope this is not a reflection of the entire Volkswagen management. Very very poor and if I knew how long it was going to take I would have purchased a Honda Accord Euro or a Subaru Liberity. At least I will be driving the car now rather than the hassles of making arrangement with my current lease vehicle and now waiting 6 months for my car to arrive. As I have waited sooooo long, I have decided to continue with another 3 months. If there is further delays from what I was quoted I will definately cancel my order.
One final word, don't ever buy your car at the Five Dock Volkswagen dealership in Sydney Australia. I visited the dealership back in March and they have the worst customer service level available.
